Become a volunteer

Giant Steps is fortunate to receive generous donations from various organizations and events in the community, and volunteers are often needed to ensure this support. 

By volunteering your time at these events, you are helping our kids here at Giant Steps receive the therapy and life skills programs they so desperately need!

KIDS’ MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT

 

Saturday June 6, 2026

Giant Steps needs volunteers to assist at the KIDS’ JIU JITSU FESTIVAL, organized by Gracie Woodbridge & Bravado MMA Academy. We are grateful that this large community event benefits Giant Steps and the kids with autism we serve.

Volunteers are needed for various tasks such as ushering participants around the center and recording and/or inputting match details at the mats. You may be required to stand for much of the day.

Date: Saturday June 6, 2026
Place: Save Max Center, 1495 Sandalwood Pkwy E, Brampton
Time: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (approximately)

Lunch, drinks and snacks will be provided.
